Max Mosley now has a list of ten teams who have already made known their intentions – presumably without any strings attached either. They are up against the nine member teams of FOTA who have adopted a collective position, making their continued participation dependent on a certain number of conditions. What is Max Mosley to do with so many teams? If there were 20 of them, all competing for the Formula One title, that would mean finding room for 40 cars on the starting grid. And it could be even more: rumours are that Carlin, Manor and N.Technology have also expressed an interest in racing at the top level of motorsport.
