Volkswagen to enter Formula One?

Never before has such a senior figure in the Volkswagen hierarchy spoken so openly about a possible involvement of the company in F1 racing. Ex-Formula One driver and VW spokesman Hans-Joachim Stuck didn't beat about the bush: "When you're the biggest automotive manufacturer in the world, you obviously need to give careful consideration to Formula One. But not before 2012." Stuck was in the USA last week and watched the grand finale to the NASCAR season in Florida. While he was there, he had discussions with the sport's top brass. One possible option that VW could be considering is the Grand-Am Series which also comes under the NASCAR umbrella.

To hell with Volkswagen, put their sister Company Skoda on the Formula 1 car, that should get the teams talking........

Formula 1,... Ho Blinkin Ho,... I'd like them to divert some of that money to sorting out the Known problems on their domestic cars,.. I am facing a £1600 bill for a replacement ABS/ESP unit,.. reading blogs I find it a well known problem and it's a unit that can't be repaired. If they want to be taken seriously they need the public to beon their side,.. to buy their cars ,.. to finance their Formula 1.
