The first official pictures of the Rolls-Royce Ghost have finally been published. The witty name should serve as a reminder of the legendary 1907 "Silver Ghost". Visually, the 5.40m Ghost is in the style of the Phantom, but without the enormous bulk. Special treats are: the integrated radiator grille with foldaway "Emily" radiator mascot, slender Xenon headlights and special wheels whose centre caps display the Rolls-Royce logo the right way up, even when the car is moving. The Ghost will debut at the IAA in Frankfurt.

Next year, Rolls-Royce will be launching their new entry model, referred to internally as the RR4. Alongside the Phantom, the new 'mini Rolls' will broaden the current range of models. It will still be steeped in luxury but appear in a more compact form than previous Rolls.

We have discovered the first picture of this mini Rolls... Oh sorry, this one is a special edition that we'll be telling you more about shortly. In the meantime it is up to you to hazard a guess. Is it a Christmas present for the gardener of the British royal family? Or is it the prototype of a Rolls-Royce for the second 'Cars' film? We will give you the answer... in Part Two.
