This is not a spelling error. IndiKar has nothing to do with the American racing series Indy Car – and it isn't a play on words. It has more to do with toys, as model car manufacturer Harpa presented a 1:10 scale model of the new Trabant at the IAA in Frankfurt two years ago. The response was so positive that IndiKar decided to present a full-sized prototype of the new 'Trabi' at the IAA 2009. The cult car from the GDR era will enthuse a new generation of fans and will perhaps trigger a new wave of muscle cars.
